I can’t believe that today is the first day of 2015! How exciting. I bet it will take me until March to actually get used to signing things with the date 2015.. it always takes forever to get used to! 2014 was a fabulous year for me and I had some really wonderful times so I am really hoping they continue into 2015. For those of you who missed my look back at 2014 you can take a look here, but now it’s time to get focused and to plan some goals for the year ahead.
1. Fitness Goals
In 2014 I really upped my fitness and diet regime and finally lost that weight I piled on when I went away to university in the first year. I’ve achieved my goal of becoming a size 8 and honestly feel so much happier. There are some areas I hope to work on in the next year, especially to seriously tone my stomach.
In 2014 I have really noticed a difference in my fitness levels and I am honestly quite impressed with how fit I have got. Considering at the end of last year my friend and I couldn’t complete the circuit class to becoming one of the strongest, fittest women there is a real achievement for me and I want to build on this further. So this year I want to complete a fitness challenge – whether it’s Survival of the Fittest, Race for Life or a half marathon. I want something to focus my attention on and to train for!
2. University Goals
This year I graduate university and it’s quite scary! Last term I worked really hard to improve some poor grades that I wasn’t happy with at the end of 2013 and I am really pleased with my progress. I have always been a perfectionist so not achieving the grades I wanted to really got me down, but now I feel as though I am finally on the right career path and am willing to do whatever it takes to get there! So another goal is to graduate my degree to the best of my ability!
I would also like to complete a Masters in Magazine Journalism, so a goal of mine is to work hard to achieve that and, if accepted, to work hard there too.
3. Blog Goals
Towards the end of this year I really gave my blog my all and, although I found it difficult to juggle with working out, socialising and doing university assignments, I really felt like my blog improved and my follower count grew with it. I don’t just blog for followers as I absolutely love blogging but it is great to see other people supporting your blog and enjoying it too!
This year I want to continue to post as often as possible with creative posts, but to seriously improve on my photography and to post more fashion posts. All I do is buy clothes and I love getting dressed up for days and nights out, so I think I will definitely be posting a lot more fashiony things on here! It seems that people enjoy reading them too.
4. Travel Goals
Last year I was very lucky to go on two lovely holidays to Greece and Ibiza, but this year I would love to explore more and my aim is to go to five different countries or even explore five new places, even if it’s for a weekend in Cornwall with my boyfriend. I would love to go on some city breaks and on a lovely relaxing holiday so I am hoping that my boyfriend, friends and family are keen to join me!
What are your goals for 2015?
Lots of love,
